KEY # 14 DID YAHUSHA DO AWAY WITH THE LAW?
Yahusha did NOT come to do away with the Laws Yahuah gave to Israel. First of all, the Hebrew word or English bibles have translated into “law” from Hebrew is “Torah”. The correct translation of “Torah” is “instructions”, not “law”. Israel, a Hebrew word, is translated as “those who turn their face towards Elohim.” It is not pertaining to a certain race or culture, but anyone who wants to be obedient to Him. Yahusha came to renew the Torah (instructions) as the Israelites had forgotten their El and gotten very far away from being obedient. They had adopted and became very diluted in many pagan ways and manmade traditions. In Matthew 5:17 Yahusha says “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. The word “fulfill” in Greek is “pleroo” and means to “fully teach.”
An uncomplicated way to look at it is like this. Why would Father Yahuah send His Son to the lost sheep of Israel (they were lost already, remember, not being obedient to the Torah) to tell them they didn’t have to be obedient to the Torah. ???? That makes absolutely no sense. If they had already stopped following the Creators instructions, why would the Creator send someone to tell them not to follow His instructions (Torah)?
This is just one of the many things Christianity teaches, that is not Truth.
