It seems we have been given much false information in Christian circles. Evangelizing has always been something that Christians insist everyone should take part in. And yes, even those new in the faith. Discovering Father’s Truth gives much freedom. He tells us that before we try to help someone else with their salvation, see that we are not hypocrites, but working on our own salvation and repentance first. Then we will become a light in darkness, and shine for the world to see by our behavior, just like our Messiah Yahusha. When questioned about a subject, we will have the proper response because we have experience, not opinion.

If you were in an airplane, and suddenly the oxygen mask dropped down, what would you do first? Wouldn’t the best thing to do is help yourself first? If you die, how are you going to help anyone else?

By the obvious difference in how we live (being set apart), our lives expose the sin of those that are engaging in the unfruitful deeds of darkness. As Shaul says (Eph. 5:13), “But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.” That last phrase is difficult, but Shaul seems to be arguing that light not only exposes, but can also transform. “It is possible (after all, it happened with you!) for light to turn the thing is shines upon into light also.”
